One day I decided I wanted to make my mother-in-law a basket for her birthday. It was just a wild idea, as I had zero prior experience (zip, zilch, nada).

I scoured the internet and YouTube trying to find tutorials only to come up empty handed. Nothing matched my vision.

After many trips to the craft store and tons of trial-and-error, I was able to produce something of quality. But I didn’t stop there!

The next few years I played around with different shapes and sizes, materials and fibers, and began creating designs.

The biggest transformation, though, came as a complete surprise to me. I began to notice how my mood changed, how I became a better mother and wife, and how whatever stresses I was facing seemed to just melt away.
